ALEJANDRA COLOMBIANA LADIES COSMETIC and PERSONAL CARE CENTER - Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 1st, 2025

Welcome to ALEJANDRA COLOMBIANA LADIES COSMETIC and PERSONAL CARE CENTER (hereinafter referred to as "The Center"). These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the provision of all services and treatments by The Center to its patients. By booking or receiving any service from The Center, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Offered

The Center provides a range of specialized wellness and aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to body contouring, post-surgical care, facial treatments, and other wellness therapies. Detailed descriptions of services are available upon request and on our official website.

2. Appointments and Bookings

      Booking Confirmation: All appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation from The Center.

      Arrival Time: Patients are requested to arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork and prepare for their session.

      Late Arrivals: Should a patient arrive late, the session duration may be shortened to avoid delays for subsequent appointments. The full session fee will still apply.

      Rescheduling and Modifications:

      Requests to reschedule or modify an appointment must be made at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time.

      Such requests must be made during The Center's working hours (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

      Cancellations:

      Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice will incur a 50% charge of the booked service fee.

      Cancellations made with less than 4 hours' notice will be charged the full (100%) service amount.

      No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification will result in a charge for the full (100%) service amount.

3. Payment and Pricing

      Pricing: All prices for services and packages are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are subject to change without prior notice.

      Payment Methods: The Center accepts payment via cash, credit card, debit card, and approved Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services such as Tabby.

      Payment for Procedures: Payments are made for the procedures performed during the agreed-upon term or package validity, not for any specific outcome or guaranteed result.

      Package Validity: All purchased treatment packages have a specified validity period, which will be communicated at the time of purchase. Sessions not utilized within this period may expire.

      Refunds:

      All sales of services and packages are final. No refund will be issued once services have been rendered or products have been provided.

      Deposits paid for packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or gift cards.

      Credits for Unused Funds: As per the Dubai Consumer Protection Authority, if a payment made against a bill is non-refundable and the patient has any remaining unused amount (e.g., from an incomplete package or overpayment), this amount will be considered a non-refundable credit and may be used for other services offered by The Center. This credit cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred.

4. Results and Guarantees

      Procedure Results: Individual results from treatments may vary significantly depending on various factors, including but not limited to individual body type, metabolism, lifestyle, adherence to aftercare instructions, and the nature of the condition being treated.

      No Guaranteed Outcome: The Center does not guarantee specific results from any procedure. Payments are made for the performance of the agreed-upon procedures and services, not for a guaranteed outcome.

      Additional Treatments: Any additional treatments or sessions beyond the scope of a purchased package or service, or to achieve further desired results, can be obtained at an additional cost.

5. Client Health and Safety

      Health Disclosure: Patients are required to provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, current health conditions, allergies, and any medications they are taking. This includes completing our Patient Intake Form prior to their first session.

      Contraindications: Patients must inform The Center of any contraindications that may affect their treatment, including but not limited to: Fever, Menstruation, Areas of skin without sensitivity, Cardiac pacemakers, Metal implants, Electronic devices or neurostimulators, Implanted defibrillator, Medication infusion pump, Malignant tumors, Bleeding disorders, Epilepsy, Asthma, Cancer, Recent surgeries in the area to be treated, Metal plates in the area to be treated, Pulmonary insufficiency, Pregnancy, Latex allergy or sensitivity, Vertigo, Digestive problems, colon issues, ulcers, or gastritis, Active phlebitis, Active thrombophlebitis, Thyroid conditions, Arthritis, Terminal or serious illnesses, Active bleeding or seizure disorders, Liver diseases, Uncontrolled hypertriglyceridemia, Currently on anticoagulant treatments, Heart disorders, Abdominal or inguinal hernias, Metallic IUD (intrauterine device), Neurological disorders, Skin irritation, burns, or wounds, Diseases affecting muscle metabolism (e.g., diabetes), Uncontrolled high blood pressure (requires medical authorization), Uncontrolled low blood pressure, Osteoporosis, Lipedema, Lymphedema, Headache, Recent injections/fillers/threads in the treatment area, Active skin infections/open wounds/sunburn, Severe uncontrolled diabetes, and any other conditions as advised by their physician.

      Right to Refuse Treatment: The Center reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any treatment if:

      A patient is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose).

      There are any contraindications that could compromise the patient's safety or the effectiveness of the treatment.

      The patient fails to adhere to pre-treatment instructions.

      Pre-Treatment Instructions: Patients must refrain from eating or consuming any beverages for one (1) hour prior to their session, unless otherwise directed by their physician.

      Companions: For privacy and safety, companions are generally not permitted in treatment rooms.

6. Personal Belongings

The Center is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Patients are advised to keep their valuables with them or utilize designated secure areas at their own risk. Any found items will be handled in accordance with The Center's Lost and Found Policy.

7. Conduct and Environment

      Patients are expected to maintain respectful conduct towards staff and other patients.

      We request patients to help maintain a peaceful and quiet environment within The Center.

      Smoking, vaping, and consumption of outside food or beverages are strictly prohibited within The Center's premises.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

      The Center collects and processes personal and health information in accordance with UAE data protection laws.

      Patients are required to present their Emirates ID for verification purposes, as mandated by healthcare regulations.

      Patient information is used solely for the purpose of providing services, managing appointments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

9. Promotions and Offers

      Packages and services purchased under special promotions or offers cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions, discounts, or offers unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific promotion's terms.

10. Feedback and Concerns

We value your feedback and are committed to ensuring the best possible service experience. We encourage patients to communicate any concerns immediately to our staff or management so that we can address them promptly and effectively.

11. Amendments to Terms

The Center reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version of these Terms will always be available at The Center's reception and on its official website.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
